David Copperfield is being accused of sexually abusing 16 women.
The case was exposed by The Guardian, which collected testimonies from women who had been abused by the illusionist.
There are those who say that the abuse took place at shows; and there are also reports that the artist drugged women in order to have non-consensual sex.
More than half of the victims were minors.
In 2018, Brittney Lewis accused Copperfield of sexual violence, in a case that goes back 30 years, when the former model was just 17 years old.
Like two other witnesses, Brittney Lewis says she was drugged and sexually abused by the American artist.
But the accusations also relate to episodes that took place at shows, when Copperfield called women on stage.
Four women (three minors) say they were groped and subjected to inappropriate sexual behavior at live shows.
According to the British newspaper, the acts took place between 1980 and 2014.
According to Copperfield's lawyers, the artist "vehemently denies" any suggestion of grooming or other improper conduct.
David Copperfield has recently been linked to the "Epstein case", about child sex trafficking crimes.
The American magician was one of the names to appear in court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, released earlier this year, although no wrongdoing is alleged.
Copperfield's lawyers said at the time that the artist had no knowledge of the crimes perpetrated by Epstein
