It's nothing new that Elon Musk has his doubts about the existence of extraterrestrials somewhere in the Universe and this Monday, he said that he "thinks he would know" if they were out there.

"I've seen no evidence that aliens exist. With about 6000 satellites orbiting the Earth, I think I would know," wrote the owner of Space X, which has placed thousands of Starlink satellites in orbit around the Earth, on his social network X.

The recent comment comes in response to an interview that the famous American journalist Tucker Carlson gave on Joe Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, on April 19, in which Carlson said that he thought aliens "have been here a long time".

"There is a ton of evidence that they are under the ocean and under the ground," said the journalist who interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin in February.

Vladimir Putin won’t invade Poland? ‘Zero credibility’, Warsaw says
Tensions have long been strained between Poland and Russia but deteriorated further after Warsaw threw its weight behind Kyiv.

This is by far not the first time that the tycoon has talked about alien life and denied its existence.

Last July, he responded to physicist Enrico Fermi, who wondered why we had never found life beyond Earth: "The scariest answer to Fermi's Paradox is that there are no aliens," wrote Musk, who according to Business Insider plans to send 42,000 more Starlink satellites into space.

Elon Musk says he ‘would know’ if there are aliens out there with all the Starlink satellites he has orbiting Earth
Musk’s rocket company, SpaceX operates a satellite internet system called Starlink. Musk says he hopes to send up to 42,000 satellites into space.

Back in 2018, the billionaire said that "it is not known whether we are the only civilization currently alive in the observable Universe", but that this meant that there was "additional impetus to extend life beyond Earth".

And if they don't exist out there, much less in Area 51.

Speaking about the possibility of life on other planets in 2019, the founder and CEO of SpaceX said that he had seen "no sign of aliens", emphasizing that human beings are the only fully conscious species known so far.

"As far as we know, we are the only consciousness, that is, the only life that exists. There could be other forms of life, although we haven't seen any sign of that," he said.

"The reality is that, as far as we know, this is the only place, at least in this part of the galaxy or in the Milky Way, where there is consciousness, and it's taken us a long time to get to that point," he said, referring to the military zone where the US armed forces guard, some say, evidence of alien life.
