Here comes another famous "day of lies".
Every April 1st, year after year, there are always a few "artists" who stand out.
The Sky News channel has put together a curious list of pranks it has caught, especially in the UK.
The first is quite curious: an application was able to detect lies told by an estate agent. With the help of Artificial Intelligence. Of course, it was a prank by Purplebricks, a local company in the field.
The Swiss police now have chickens that can detect the smell of drugs. It was cheaper than training dogs and, what's more, the hens also lay an egg every day. But we smell that "Drogenspürhuhn" doesn't exist.
The same police have announced that they are now using cats in searches. They have "quieter paws". Right.
Toilet paper sent to Uranus? No, that didn't happen. But it was an advertisement from the company Who Gives A Crap - by the way, this name does exist; there is a company called Who Gives A Crap.
And no, Aldi didn't start a romantic contest. The company's stores in the UK announced that a competition was open: candidates had to show why they deserved to meet the love of their life in the aisles of Aldi stores.
But this latest case was denied by the company itself, with the following justification: "The tender can't go ahead, it hasn't been shown to the legal team. We even said that we love legal proceedings, but that would be very expensive."
